The cozy studio apartment is designed and equipped with what you would need to stay as a temporary local. The sous-terrain apartment has a private entrance and is suitable for a couple or two single guests (max).
The De Korenbloemen has been a popular and well-known rental for travelers since 2008. Having undergone a recent renovation, you will love the intimate space with stylish updates, including new lighting and cement flooring, the private entrance with separate patio and of course the convenient location.
The Nieuwmarkt (new market) itself is a square in Amsterdam’s Chinatown, next to the Red Light District The area was once an open canal, but the waterways were filled in in 1614 to create the marketplace which gives the square its name. A daily market is still held here, and the square is also home to an organic market every Saturday.
Many lively cafés, bars, restaurants and interesting shops surround the square. Spend a few hours exploring and people watching to get a great introduction to the city’s rich history and cultural diversity. See our guidebook for more information.
